Who Are The Wilderbeats? The Wilderbeats are Ashley Moffat and Joyce Saunders, two of Nova Scotia's finest musical animators who joined forces in 2001 to write and perform songs about nature. They both have deep roots in nature conservation and children's programming, and both actively contribute to the East Coast music scene as independent musicians. What Is Their Mission? The Wilderbeats aim to stimulate fascination and meaningful connections with the natural world through the unique, effective medium of music. They also hope to encourage outdoor exploration, inspire creativity, ignite a love of learning, and foster environmental stewardship among the young and old. They would love to meet you!The Wilderbeats have a great reputation for being fun and entertaining. Their clever, interactive songs encourage audience participation and listeners can't help but learn something new while tapping their toes. At Wilderbeats concerts, kids and parents have so much fun, they forget they are learning! I LOOVEE THE PLOVER SONG ZOMG By kisa on 2008 05 02

The Wilderbeats are supurb specimens of musical marvel with a huge following in Scotland. While there has been contraversy in the past over the credits of a Wilderbeats/WILDERBEASTS song, the WILDERBEASTS fully endorse this wonderful musical project. By The WILDER BEASTS on 2007 02 11
