ECMA nominees, The Wilderbeats present awards

The Wilderbeats, nominated for making the "Children's Album of the Year" with Second Nature, presented a handful of East Coast Music Awards during the pretelevised portion of the gala, held on Sunday, Feb 18 at Halifax's Metro Centre. In Ashley's mysterious absence, Joyce co-presented with a strangely familiar black bear who broke hibernation to suss out the disturbing racket downtown. She gave the bear a Halifax Mooseheads jersey to wear in order to fit in better.

The Wilderbeats are supurb specimens of musical marvel with a huge following in Scotland. While there has been contraversy in the past over the credits of a Wilderbeats/WILDERBEASTS song, the WILDERBEASTS fully endorse this wonderful musical project.
